Privacy Policy

Plain-English version: reading nooktly.com takes no account and hands over nothing personal. The detail is below. Last updated July 2026.

What we collect

Very little. There is no login and no paywall, so we ask you for nothing to read a study. Our servers keep ordinary web logs — IP address, browser, the page requested and the time — which exist to keep the site standing and to spot abuse, and which age out on a rolling basis.

Cookies and measurement

We use cookies only where the site genuinely needs them, such as remembering a display preference. Any analytics we run measure which pieces are read, in aggregate — they are not used to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share that data.

If you email us

When you send a tip or a question, we keep your message for as long as it takes to deal with it and to hold a record of the correspondence. We will never quietly add you to a mailing list.

Third parties

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the providers that host and deliver this site, only as far as they need it — or where the law requires. Studies link out to other sites; once you follow a link you are under their policy, not ours.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to editor@nooktly.com and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

The Dispatch — every Friday

One letter a week, on how things are made.

No hot takes, no noise — the buildings, objects and ideas worth your attention, once a week.
